RENOVATE is the most ambitious marine habitat restoration project ever carried out in Italy.
With an innovative and holistic approach, RENOVATE includes a series of interventions aimed at restoring, in the medium to long term, the functionality of the priority habitat 1120 Posidonia oceanica and of certain biocoenoses within habitat 1170 Reefs (coralligenous and Cystoseira spp.), as well as two species of high naturalistic and ecological value: Corallium rubrum and Pinna nobilis.
